It’s been a few weeks since my last post and this has been for good reason. Eight weeks ago, my wife gave birth to a baby boy and since then our world has been turned upside down… in a great way of course. Right, this is not going to be one of those posts where I go on about the miracle of life and bravery of any woman who has had a baby. Those are indisputable facts that I’m sure every new parent understands, and I can 100% agree with, without question. Having many nights with little to no sleep your brain goes into overdrive with stresses, pressures, ideas and motivation. To add an extra complexity, I was participating in the Techstars LA Accelerator program (more on this in my next post) with one of my clients through the time our baby was due. Juggling the responsibly of new baby, Techstars and the day to day was challenging but I thoroughly enjoyed the (organized) chaos that has been the last few months. We all have responsibilities in our work and home lives, but I have been super thankful to be able to spend quality time with my little boy over the past few months. Even though my work days are much longer and much later it’s a price I’d pay 10 times over to be part of this stage of his life.
